Georgia Pediatric Program
We provide specialized care for medically fragile children from infancy to age 21, focusing on their unique health and wellbeing needs.
Through the Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP), parents of children aged 0 to 21 years old can become paid caregivers for their children. This Medicaid-supported program offers skilled and unskilled services for children, with the only requirement being Medicaid eligibility.
GAPP covers a range of medical services, including:
Personal care and hygiene
Mobility support
Wound, catheter, and G-tube care
Insulin administration and medication management
Respiratory treatment and wheelchair assistance
Nursing visits for specialized care
Families enrolled in GAPP have no out-of-pocket costs, as services are fully covered based on the child’s medical needs. Medicaid-eligible families can apply for GAPP at any time to access this essential support.
